Learning Outcomes

1. The goal of a parent or educator is to ensure that the student is able to communicate, have a means of socialization, and that they are academically prepared.

2. Some options that are successful in Deaf Education are direct instruction, resource classrooms, and interventions.

  1. Yes! Parents and teachers do want the same things for students who are deaf. A top priority is for the child to communicate which will lead to socialization. Both of these will help the child as you have stated experience success with academics. This can happen successfully in different ways as you've included in your second answer!
